EHS Coordinator

Under limited supervision, this position will provide both field and administrative support to the Compliance Team by conducting inspections and audits, facilitating employee training, identifying workplace hazards, and assisting with investigations and responding accordingly. This role works closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Inspection personnel across multiple locations to help ensure compliance with TCEQ, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement regulatory programs which help direct and support the compliance process
Assist with regulatory compliance and aid with investigations and documentation
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
Support employee safety and compliance training programs
Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Inspection teams to promote a safe and compliant work environment

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
Basic knowledge of utility operations and related regulations
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry skills
Strong mathematical aptitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
